Release planning at Dog Ranch Music PR
Release Strategy Session
$150 · one call, written summary
One hour on a call. Bring the record, finished or not, the date you have in mind, and whatever is already booked or ordered. We work backward from release day through every phase of the release year and find where the plan is thin. A written summary lands in your inbox within two business days.
What we look at
- Whether your date is a Friday, and how many months out it really is
- What has to be finished by when, from paperwork to the radio window
- Written splits, and your PRO, MLC, and SoundExchange registrations
- The vinyl decision, which moves the recording deadline
- When to line up publicity and radio, and when each needs the record
- Award and submission deadlines that fall inside your year
Best for a date you want tested before you build around it, or finding one while the studio is still unbooked.
Get started
Drop us a line at ron@dogranchmusicpr.com with your target release date and where the record stands: songs written, studio booked, or master finished. No date yet? Say so. That is often the best place to begin.
*Planning and coaching only. We do not register works, file copyright, or log into artist accounts, and we do not draft or review splits or session agreements; for those we refer you to a music business attorney. Nothing here is legal, tax, or financial advice. For folk radio promotion in North America we refer artists to Art Menius Radio. All other radio promotion is decided with you.*
